| Aside from mixing cocktails vodka can be used for a variety of things. Here are some that I find useful. Preserving Flowers I love the smell of fresh flowers and having vases of fresh cut flowers around the house always brightens the room. To keep your flowers fresher try putting a few drops of vodka and a teaspoon of sugar into the water. Change the mixture daily and enjoy your flowers longer. Insect Repellent Vodka actually kills small insects. Since a lot bug repellents are full of questionably harmful chemicals a great alternative is using vodka. Use a spray bottle with vodka to aim at the bugs or spay onto yourself to repel the little pests. Get Rid of Mold Mold can be a hard burden to get rid of and most mold remover cleaning products are chalk full of toxic chemicals. But spraying vodka onto the affected are like the shower tiles could do the trick. After spraying on wait 15 minutes and scrub off.
