| It completely shocks me when I still see restaurants providing Styrofoam to-go boxes. Most people know that the material is terrible for the environment as it never fully decomposes! I just heard about a wonderful alternative called Tater Ware! It is manufactured by Biodegradable Food Services who create a variety of items used for food storage and transportation that are fully biodegradable and can be put into your compost right at home. They carry a line of table ware like plates, forks, knives and spoons. There are also to-go boxes available and traveling coffee or beverage cups with lids. I think all restaurants should use such products especially if they offer a to-go service. There is no need to still be using Styrofoam containers!
