| I've always known that freezing foods is a great way to preserve and keep foods from spoiling. It is a convenient way to store leftovers too. What I didn't know is that there are various things around the house that you can freeze to save money other ways. I found a great article from the dailygreen about what to put in your freezer to save money. My favorite was wine cubes. The article suggests that if you have a little wine left over, to pour it into a ice tray and use it for cooking. I also think it would be a good way to make a wine spritzer, drop a few wine cubes in some sparking water.
