Currently, far too much of this cash is flowing into the pockets of fossil fuel industries, fuelling dangerous climate change. We need to divert these fossil fuel subsidies to investing in clean, green, renewable energy from sun, wind and water. Radioactive Water Leak
The Japanese government has now estimated that around 300,000 litres of radioactive water from the Fukushima Daiichi plant may be leaking into the Pacific Ocean on a daily basis. This is despite the plant's operator Tepco claiming until very recently that it was succeeding in preventing contaminated water from reaching the sea.
