Cool Café, located inside the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University, overlooks the Rodin Sculpture Garden. It features a menu of spectacular sandwiches, soups and salads that change seasonally. Cool Cafe has a gorgeous deck, perfect for outdoor dining. A glass of wine, port, sherry or an organic beer is a welcome respite. Their desserts are amongst the best in the community. $15-$25 Wednesday-Sunday 11am-5pm, Thursday night until 8pm Why is this location "Green"? The majority of Cool Cafe's ingredients are organic and free of artificial chemicals, colorings, preservatives or pesticides. This includes all dairy products, breads, coffee and produce. Their fish, meat and poultry are all produced without growth hormones and antibiotics and are sustainably raised.
