I found the first segment about New Zealand establishing laws to favor green companies for contracts especially interesting. It sounds like a sensible policy decision- not only would it force the government to make environmentally sound decisions, it would also support green businesses. The government is in a unique position because it can respond to other needs other than the bottom line.
