Greeniacs will be the attending Live Nation Saturday 27 at 7 p.m. for a Journey concert featuring Cheap Trick and Heart at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View to inform the public about their new all-green social networking website that promotes going “green in a non-threatening and non-judgmental way.” An informational booth will be set-up to answer any questions one may have about the Greeniacs website or about the environment, and they will be giving away free notepads, water bottles and pins as well. The Greeniacs slogan is, “A Greeniac Nation Is A Happy Nation.” Greeniac’s goal is to educate people about ways in which they can help preserve the environment and give them options on how they can incorporate being “green” into their daily lives. It is a growing website with over 2,000 participants who are eager to share thoughts and ideas on how to impact the environment in a positive way. For those of you who are “Green-Curious,” this website is a great place to start and a good place to read about how other people have helped impact the environment.
