Hello All,

I'm a new member here and I would like to introduce myself. My name is Daniel and I current work for a non-profit green consultancy as well as maintain the environmental news site: GreenBeat.org. It can be best described as an environmentally oriented digg.

My site is relatively new and any comments and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Daniel, thank you for sharing your site with us! I've been exploring it a bit, and it looks very interesting. I like the idea of having a hub for environmental news in multiple forms- TV clips, articles from multiple sources, etc. Thank you for setting it up and for your devotion to the cause.

If I had to make a couple of suggestions for your site, these would be them: Firstly, it would be really nice if you could provide a little commentary on the articles you post, especially the more complicated ones that seem to be making statments that are counterintuitive, like "Green Gap: Why High Energy Prices Could Hurt the Environment." A short blurb that clarifies what those sophisticated Wall Street writiers are trying to say would be useful, I think, for many people who want to educate themselves.

Also, I really love how you have a whole section of your site devoted to video clips. It's always motivational to hear and see people talking about these issues. If I could make one suggestion about this section of the site, I would say that maybe you could find some clips that deal with less general, more specific topics, and, if you come up with a lot, perhaps organize them by category, as you've done with the articles.

Already, I think your site is really awesome, and thanks again for creating and maintaining it! Best of luck with its future development.
