SUV's do not waste as much as a cheeseburger 03/24/2008 Karma: 0
As the recent National Geographic show "6 degrees" stated the amount of carbon that is created to produce the amount of cheeseburgers consumed each year in the US creates more carbon waste than all of the SUV's in the United States.

While many view the tail pipe as the cause of global warming probably becuase it is right in front of our face, there are other things that are larger causes. Yes the popular cheeseburger is a bigger waster. What is even the larger cause is the tail pipes you do not notice from the powerplants. 70% of the energy in the US serves the large corporate facilities and real estate buildings and that is the real larger cause of pollution not the automobile.
