About Greeniacs: The New All-Green Social Network!
Greeniacs.com wants to spread the word about going green in a non-threatening and non-judgmental way. We won’t scold you if you drive an SUV because at Greeniacs.com we believe that people are only responsible to do what is within their means to help the environment. We don’t expect people to completely change their lifestyles but instead encourage them to become educated and take whatever steps they can towards living a more sustainable life. If you’re interested in learning about what you can do to green your lifestyle in a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment, then Greeniacs.com is for you! Come join our dynamic online community and find out how you can do your part to preserve the environment. Greeniacs.com Vision Wouldn’t it be great if everyone did just one thing to lessen their environmental impact? The collective result would be tremendous! This is our philosophy here at Greeniacs.com and what we like to call the “new environmentalism”. Environmentalism has historically been a very polarizing movement. You were either doing everything you could for the environment or you were a part of the problem. This attitude towards environmentalism discouraged too many otherwise concerned people from becoming involved. Our hope is to shed this destructive image of environmentalism and bring in the new environmental movement; one where everyone is actively involved in doing what they can. Greeniacs.com Is… An online community that allows users to interact with one another in a fun, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. We’ve found that a great deal of people are green-curious but just don’t know where to start. Greeniacs.com is a great place to learn what other people are doing to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We believe that an individual who is aware and educated is more likely to make the right decision and Greeniacs.com is a wealth of resources and information to get you in the know. Our focus is on education and interaction that will encourage simple changes for a positive impact on our planet and the lives of the people who live there. Greeniacs Are… Greeniacs are people who are green-curious but may want to keep the lifestyle they currently enjoy. Greeniacs can be any age, gender, race, religion, creed, national origin/ethnicity, disability/handicap, sexual orientation or socioeconomic background, but they all have something in common: they want to learn in order to be capable of doing something good for the environment, but don't always know where to begin. Most importantly, Greeniacs are encouraging. Every day Greeniacs gain knowledge and experience to share with the rest of the rest of our growing online community, The Greeniac Nation!
